Enabling snapshots the plan price for this client (grandfathering). Charges run on the cycle; a failed charge enters a grace window, then suspends (dunning). "Charge now" only settles a genuinely due cycle.

Price changes are versioned (append-only history); existing clients keep their grandfathered price until re-assigned.

Read-only master access. Every read is double-audited — into the vendor trail AND the client's own audit log (they see which operator viewed what). A reason is required.

Secrets are encrypted at rest (AES-256-GCM). Values are shown only on explicit reveal.
